Edge Adjustable Handcuffs - Black

Each cuff fastens with a buckle and has foam padding, silver-coloured metal fittings and reinforced stitching. With the chain on, they are joined together. Without it, they are two separate wrist cuffs that you can attach to another piece using their rings.

The essentials: Edge Adjustable Handcuffs

• 12.7 to 27.9 cm (5 to 11 in): Wrist circumference they fit
• Buckle fastening: Adjusts to the size of each wrist
• Detachable chain: Use them joined together or as two separate wrist cuffs
• Rings: For attaching other restraints or bondage gear
• Padded: Padded with polyurethane foam
• 80% polyurethane: With silver-coloured metal fittings and reinforced stitching

Who the Edge Adjustable Handcuffs are for, and who they aren't

It suits you if

• You want padded wrist handcuffs that fasten with a buckle.
• You want to be able to wear them joined together, or remove the chain and use each cuff on its own.
• You have other restraints or bondage gear and want to attach them to the rings.
• You prefer an adjustable fit to handcuffs in a fixed size.

Better look elsewhere if

• Your wrist measures less than 12.7 cm or more than 27.9 cm around. They won't fasten properly.
• You are sensitive to polyurethane, nylon or iron and zinc alloys, which are part of their composition.

How to use the Edge Adjustable Handcuffs

1. Agree a safe word before you start, and a hand signal in case the person who is tied up can't speak.
2. Decide whether you want the chain on. With it, the wrists are joined together. Without it, each cuff is used separately.
3. Wrap the cuff around the wrist and fasten the buckle so the padding sits firmly but isn't tight. You should be able to fit a finger between the cuff and the skin.
4. Attach other restraints to the rings if you want to fix them to another piece of bondage gear.

Cleaning

Wipe them with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then leave them to air dry before storing.

Our advice

• Always respect the safe word and release the cuffs as soon as it is called.
• Never leave a tied-up person on their own.
• Check the hands often. If they turn cold, tingle or change colour, loosen the cuffs straight away.
• Keep a pair of round-tipped scissors within reach to release the restraint if needed.
• Don't hang body weight from the cuffs or pull hard on the wrists.
• If you notice skin irritation, stop using them.

What science says about talking about consent

The studies we cite did not test these handcuffs. What has been studied is how talking clearly about consent affects couples.

• 392 adults in couples, in China. In three studies, the first with 392 adults in couples, feeling a high level of internal consent and using explicit verbal signals were associated with greater sexual and relationship satisfaction. It does not address restraints specifically. Shi et al., 2025, Journal of sex research.
